- Does it work on private accounts?
- No. Only public profiles. If you can't see it logged out, neither can we.
- Will they know I looked?
- No — but that's not permission to be creepy. This is for checking your own branding, or seeing a competitor's positioning, not for building a file on someone.
- What resolution do I get?
- Whatever Instagram stores as the HD version, usually 320px or 1080px square depending on when it was uploaded.
- Can I use someone else's photo?
- Downloading it doesn't give you rights to it. Impersonating someone with their own photo is both against Instagram's rules and, in most places, illegal.
- Why is this free?
- It costs us a fraction of a cent and it's how people find us. The paid product does the harder thing — telling you what to post.
